The Dedicated Grant Mechanism for Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (DGM) is a global initiative, through Conservation International, that supports the full and effective participation of Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities in the international effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from deforestation and forest degradation and promote sustainable forest management and forest carbon stocks (REDD+). DGM needed an engaging, impactful annual report that highlighted the efforts and impacts of the country projects. For 2020, MAD elevated the story-telling, visuals and emotional impact of DGM’s year-end review. In 2021 we brought DGM’s report online for the first time with the goal of increasing accessibility for members and users globally. In addition all reports are developed in four languages. We continued the same approach for 2022, see the 2022 online annual report here. For 2023 we returned to a printed version.
